Pete Webster
Deputy Superintendent for Glacier National Park
Pete Webster has been Deputy Superintendent for Glacier National Park since 2019 and served as Acting Superintendent during the summer of 2021. Pete has worked with the National Park Service for over 35 years as a ranger across many parks, culminating as Chief Ranger for Yellowstone National Park before moving into the Superintendent’s Office. Pete started his career at Glacier and returned several times throughout. Roughly a third of his time has been at Glacier, a third at Yellowstone, and the rest across the country. Pete’s wife Dawn also is a National Park Service career employee, mainly in Interpretation. Together they have raised three great kids, in some of the most impressive locations in the world.
